Can you recommend something to help me visualise please?

Dearest Jeddah. You are an inspiration. In Seeds of Enlightenment CD 4 Energy Centres I am having difficulty with visualising the energy centre colours (visualisation has been a challenge for many years for me, although I can sense and feel OK); Jeddah can you recommend something to help me visualise please. Also, is the “ray” of colour a single ray (like a bolt of lighting), and if yes where is it directed from? the spine? or is the ray of colour much larger or with a different scope or size? Much love Sam.

Jeddah: Hi Sam, We are all wired differently. So some find it easier to feel, some to hear and some to see. They are all components of our sentient knowingness. So you can find your way into one of them through the others. If you can sense and feel easily, become very conscious of what is happening during those times and you will find that there is a visual component if you require it to be there. However, please know that it is not necessary.
Rays of light are the manifest colour of a particular vibration. They emanate from everywhere simultaneously as does the energy itself. Its scope is infinite. The rays are mentioned for those people who like to find their way into an experience via a visual or colour. If this is not your natural inclination, find your way in through the felt sense of that – without needing to see it. Both work. Just different doors. I wish you all the very best. Warm blessings, Jeddah

HI Sam
I read your question and can sympatise with you as I too had problems when I first started visualisation. The easiest method for me was as follow:
I looked at visualisation in the way I see everyday things and practised by looking at something (a flower or a child) and I would then close my eyes and kept on concentrating on the picture…..this also works with colours…look at a colour or at the rainbow close your eyes whilst keeping the colour or rainbow in your minds eye or just continue as if you are looking at it…..you can keep on opening your eyes to see the object as many times as needed until you will be successful in seeing the object in your mind’s eye..keep on practising with this and in no time you will be able to visualise like a pro!!! remember we all here to learn and we are learning everyday….life is continuous learning curve….and it is up to us to stay focused in love and with an open heart!!!! good luck (not that you needed) I have every confidence you will do well….Peace – love and light…..Aurora

I seem to have a similar problem in visualizing too with this 4th meditation. I could and can visualize a ball of energy of the respective color separately and visualize the rays too but when I try to visualize it at the exact location in the body I seem to have problems. Moreover, the brightness and color seem to fade to a dark ball in many instances. In any case I was just recommending that someone visualize the ball/rays in itself (in isolation) and then bring the visualization to the respective energy center in the body during the meditation. Hope it helps.
